Marriage, Family and Kids- Second

Ok so you played
second life for like 3 months. You found a
great guy or girl and now you’re romantically involved. You spend another 3
months together and decide that you want to go further. The question is, how
much further can your romantic life go in Second Life? The answer is simple-
ANYWHERE. If you want to get
married on
SL
then go for it. All you have to do is know what kind of wedding you want, and
then hire a wedding planner to organize everything for you. If you would rather
plan it yourself, then this is what you need to do:

1. Find a suitable wedding venue

2.Rent it out for the Date and time of the wedding

3. Decorate it the way you want

4. Make a Guest List

5. Hire a DJ to play Music for the reception

6. Buy Wedding Rings
On the day of the wedding, play it out the way you want. Everything in
second Life is role play anyway. Let the pastor or whoever marry the two of you
and then put on the rings. Send partner requests to your significant other so
that it shows up on your profile, and then kiss!
After the wedding reception, take your wife/husband on a honey moon and get
nasty in the bed room.
Next thing to do is buy land. After purchasing your land, buy a suitable
house and settle in. Somewhere along the line you start to feel like the house
is a bit too empty. You know what that means right? Time to get pregnant!
During sex, a guy can use a special penis to impregnate his woman. It works
as an animated attachment and over time the female’s avatar will begin to
“Show”. You can go to a hospital and role-play child birth while SL players
pose as doctors to deliver your baby. An SL baby is basically a Doll. The baby
cries, needs to be fed, needs to be carried, all the usual dribble that comes
with having an infant. When you start getting tired of the same old AI baby,
you can decide to have a toddler. So lets talk adoption in SL. There are REAL
people who play as children in Second Life. These people want their avatars to
to find a good family to join. So if you’re role playing as a married couple,
and your baby was a girl, you would want to adopt a girl avatar that has
everything you want in a child.
If you visit an
adoption agency, there will be a picture of a child
avatar. Clicking on the picture will give you a note card of all the things the
child is about and what they are looking for in a family. After an interview,
if the child and the parents decide that they want each other, then
congratz to the happy family.
Sometimes the child will play along with the age growing. So when the
toddler is ready, he/she will get a child avatar and role play growing up. They
will move into the teen phase and then finally grow up. Eventually that child
will find someone and get married then have their own kids. Next thing you
know…you are a gran parent.
